DAF Trucks introduces XB with ex-factory bodies
Now also available on the Continent
DAF Trucks is expanding its New Generation XB series to include a broad range of factory-fitted PACCAR bodies. These high-quality superstructures are engineered in-house to ensure seamless integration with DAF’s popular truck for city and regional distribution. The result: significantly shorter lead times and optimal body-to-chassis harmony, boosting overall DAF Transport Efficiency.

The PACCAR body program has already proven its value in the UK, where hundreds of transport operators order XB trucks equipped with these integrated superstructures each year. All PACCAR-bodied vehicles are assembled on a dedicated production line at DAF’s Leyland facility, ensuring consistent quality and reliability.
PACCAR body program
The ex-factory PACCAR body offering includes Box Bodies, Curtain siders, and Aerobody variants, with numerous options for length, height, width, tail lifts, lighting, and much more. All these variants are available for the 10t, 12t, and 18t chassis of the DAF XB series.
Turnkey solution
The New Generation DAF XB series stands out in its class by combining exceptional maneuverability, driver comfort, and fuel efficiency with a robust 7.5t – 19t chassis. With advanced safety features, a highly ergonomic Day or Extended Day/Sleeper Cab, and a wide range of powertrain options including zero-emission electric variants, the XB series offers the ideal transport solution for urban and regional distribution. The integration of PACCAR Bodies into the program further enhances the XB’s appeal by delivering a turnkey solution that optimizes uptime and operational efficiency.
Outstanding build quality
“We are very pleased to offer our customers the option to specify a fully bodied vehicle through our DAF dealers,” said Bart Bosmans, member of the DAF Board of Management and responsible for Marketing & Sales. “This ex-factory body solution ensures outstanding build quality and seamless integration, as well as shortest lead times – allowing operators to get their vehicles on the road faster and with the highest reliability. It’s a perfect example of how DAF continues to innovate in support of our customers’ operational efficiency.”
