Bart Bosmans appointed Director Marketing & Sales
Within the DAF Board of Management Bart Bosmans has been promoted to Director of Marketing & Sales, effective September 1, 2023. He will succeed Richard Zink, who will retire, effective the same date.
Bart Bosmans joined the company 19 years ago and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Operations, Quality and Sales. Key positions include being Director of Operations for PACCAR Financial Europe, Director of European Sales and Plant Manager of the PACCAR truck plant in Sainte-Thérèse, Canada.
Bart earned a master’s degree from the University of Leuven and a master’s degree from Vlerick Business School of Ghent (M.B.A.).
Richard Zink will retire after a 24-year DAF career. He has been instrumental in further strengthening the DAF brand in Europe and beyond, and realizing a record 17.3% EU heavy duty market share in 2022. Richard Zink has held various positions in logistics, before being appointed Managing Director of the DAF Cab & Axle Plant in Westerlo, Belgium in December 2005. Richard was promoted to Director Operations and member of the Board of Management in March 2010 and has been DAF Director of Marketing & Sales since 2015.
