Royal Cargo Hungary uses DAF trucks with pride and satisfaction
Reliable performance, fuel efficiency, outstanding service support
Originally specialising in container transportation, Royal Cargo Hungary Kft. - a company established in 2017 - has, in the recent years, evolved into a complex logistics service provider. During its fleet expansion, the company made a deliberate choice: they opted for DAF as their truck brand of choice.
The decision to buy DAF is driven not only by favourable pricing and financing schemes, but also by the reliability, the full European manufacturing and development, and the excellent service network.
György Firbás, Technical Director, emphasizes that the reliable service of DAF plays a particularly important role for his business. Not only is the spare parts’ supply excellent, also the parts availability is exemplary and the extended opening hours of the DAF dealer are an added benefit. As part of the service package, they got assigned a dedicated contact person who is available even outside regular working hours. This ensures quick and efficient support with any problem that may arise, further building their trust in the DAF brand.

“We are proud of and fully satisfied with our DAF trucks! We’ve had very positive operational experiences with the vehicles. Compared to the previous model, the fuel efficiency significantly improved, which results in about 5-8 litres less fuel consumption per 100 kilometres.”

Driver Olivér Hargitai is especially fond of the DAF XG cab. He describes it as spacious, easy to pack, and simple to keep clean. And that is quite telling, since Olivér works in a ‘two hands and four paws’ team, since his dog, Luffy, accompanies him everywhere. Perhaps this explains why he especially appreciates the excellent air conditioning, which works efficiently both while on the go and when stationary.

“I love the camera-based mirrors, as they provide such a better view around the vehicle. The new model is significantly quieter, the sound insulation is way better and the whole vehicle is easier to handle. Despite the longer chassis, it is even more manoeuvrable than its predecessor.”
