KARZOL-TRANS Kft. has once again chosen DAF for its reliability
Significant fuel savings compared to the previous generation
For KARZOL-TRANS Kft., a sound player in international transport for decades, reliability, efficient operation and driver satisfaction have always been key factors. That is why in 2018, the company made a strategic decision to gradually replace its truck fleet with DAF vehicles.
The company already had extremely positive experiences with the previous generation of DAF models – this reliability laid the foundation for long-term cooperation. As Dr Ferenc Kovács, Technical Manager, puts it, the fact that no big promises were made prior to the introduction of the New Generation trucks only made the results achieved even more convincing.
Not only are the vehicles economical to operate, but they also have the most favourable motorway toll classification, which results in further savings. The service contract offered by DAF ensures fast and efficient maintenance for the company, which is crucial for a fleet of more than 100 vehicles used for international transport.

"These vehicles are very-very-very reliable. They embody what DAF stands for: the trucks work so smoothly that we don’t even notice they are in our fleet. Compared to the previous generation, we have achieved significant fuel savings. The new vehicles have also saved on motorway tolls, and our drivers are extremely satisfied with their trucks."
Dr Ferenc Kovács, Technical Manager
A significant part of KARZOL-TRANS Kft.'s fleet is now DAF. The PACCAR Connect fleet management system plays an important role, providing real-time data to track vehicles, analyse driving styles and increase operational efficiency.

"This new generation of DAF is a driver's friend. It's bigger and more spacious. The interior layout is practical, the bed is wider, and the storage units are perfectly positioned. As for reliability, I can say that it has taken me everywhere. To be honest, I haven't had any problems with it – and I expect the truck will not let me down in the future either."
